Ode ii: to the rocks they threw is a performative collaboration between Nneka Kai and her mother, Michelle Scruggs. They activate the site of an abandoned housing project where they lived a decade prior. They come as healers, ghosts, caretakers, beings from other worlds, and timelines to pay homage to the bodies in this neighborhood that stands in ruins.
